Legal Question in Employment Law in California

resignation letter

What are the requirements of an employee when resigning? And what are the requirements of an employer for the last paycheck? The requirements of an employer paying unused vacation, sick, floating holidays, and a bonus from last year promised to be paid this month(February)? And how long do they have to give me any of these such checks?

Re: resignation letter

Generally, an employee may resign at any time with or without notice. When an employee resigns without notice to the employer, the employer has 72 hours to pay the employee all accrued wages. When the employee gives the employer at least 72 hours notice of their intent to resign, the employer must pay the employee all accrued wages at the time of termination.
