Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Resigned due to hostile work environment
Hi:
I've recently resigned from my job as Vice President of Information Systems after 15 years with this property management company in Lake Forest, California.
My main reason for the resignation is that my co-worker (son of one of the owner of this company recently transfered to my department) to work in my newly created Internet Services division as Marketing manager. He and I never got along since he is very difficult to work with (he was supposed to report to me). I've repeatedly asked the company owners to get him out but to no avail. I've no choice but to quit this job since this situation has become so unbearable and stressful.
Do I have any legal recourse? I've put so many years of my life to help build this company.

I see no legal recourse. it sounds like you quit because you dont like the guy you were working with. That is your right and quitting is your legal recourse.
