Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Retirement pension questing pertaining to a company ESOP plan. I have a sizable ESOP account. I left this company almost 3 years ago. I seem to be having finacial problems at this time. The company states I have to wait 5 years to recieve my account funds and in 5 yearly increments. I would like to recieve the total balance and place in my IRA. Could this be done?

Ask for the Summary Plan Description. The terms of the plan will dictate what the administrator of the plan can or cannot do.
