Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Reverting voluntary resignation to medical leave!

I left work voluntarily because doctor told me to take some time off. I did not know about medical leave. I would like to revert the resignation if it is possble although it has been over a month. Right now I have filed disability insurance under previous workers comp because the illness was caused by work. my doctor wrote me a letter of disability during my two weeks notice for resignation. Is there something I could do to go back to the company again?
