Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I have been trying to rollover my 401k from my former employer into my credit union IRA since October of 2008. The 401K plan is with John Hancock Company. I sent the application for the rollover to the plan administrator for his signature which is all the application requires from him. Is there a way he can be made to sign the paperwork so I can get my money?
Thank You,
Douglas Watts

Send a certified letter demanding the application be signed by a certain date, or you will file a complaint with the U.S. Dept. of Labor (not the California Labor Commissioner), which has jurisdiction over 401K plans.
