Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I'm in a salary position at my job and they have my working on Saturdays which is a 6th day of work for me. This wasn't originally negotiated when the company put me on salary. I also work through out the day without breaks and sometimes with out lunch. What are my legal right? What actions can I take?

If you are truly an exempt employee, an employer may require you to work as many hours as it requires, for the same salary.
But many employers misclassify their employees as exempt and take advantage of them. You have not stated what your job duties are, so there is no way to know if you are really exempt or non-exempt. What you do, determines if your are exempt or not, not what title your employer gives you.
If you do not spend more than half your time in a professional, managerial or administrative capacity, consult with an employment law attorney to see if this employer is violating your rights.
