Re: Sales Compensation-San Francisco

This is very important question on commissions.

The commission are due when the work performed to earn them has been completed. This means that if you performed the work for which the client paid your company, your are due the commissions on the same transaction, and usually regardless of whether the client pays before or after you resign / your position is terminated.

I am an attorney in your area (San Francisco) so if you have any further questions, feel free to follow up.

Thanks,
