Legal Question in Employment Law in California
On Saturday I should up late to open a store another employee was there already waiting for my supervisor to get there to open so I go ahead and open up he calls to let them know he's in so he tells them I open the supervior calls me on store phone says to give him my key that I'm off for the day and to call the owner so I call him later in the day he tells me he's upset and to call my supervior Monday to see when I want to meet so I called today as Monday twice and my supervior giving me the runaround I didn't get notice of suspension or writin warning don't I have a right to knw what's going on

Unless you are in a union or subject to civil service, your employer can handle job discipline actions however they want.
