being a independent contractor for security company and geting payed on a salary idont have any days off and i also are on call 24hrs a day is that legal

Absolutely not -- that is illegal. There are many security companies that are violating the overtime laws -- feel free to provide more info to my private email -- I have experience prosecuting this type of case.
