Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I'm a shipping supervisor in Riverside, CA. My company does pay me overtime but it's paid quarterly and they use a strange calculation. Everything that I've been reading online says I'm entitled to the same calculation as hourly employees. 1.5 times after 8 hrs. and 2 times after 12 hrs. Is this true?

No, not if you are not paid hourly. If you are a salaried, exempt employee, they don't have to pay you overtime at all. It is effectively a form of bonus to pay you for your extra work, and can be calculated and paid any way they like.
