Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I'm a shipping supervisor in Riverside California. I believe I'm classified as salaried, non exempt. My company pays me overtime however it's paid out quarterly and at a strange calculation. I've read online that salaried non exempt employees are entitled to the same calculation as hourly employees (1.5 times after 8, and 2 times after 12) is this true?

I think you should definitely consult with an employee rights' attorney to explore your options. Your company may be violating California's labor and employment laws, which are some of th strongest in the country and designed to protect employees from being misclassified. If you have indeed been misclassified, you could have an employee's rights wage-and-hour claim. There are numerous qualitifed attorneys available on the internet. If I can be of service, please feel free to let me know and one of the attorneys at my firm will be glad to give you an initial consultation (always free). Take care, Rabeh
