Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Do I have to sign an employee manual acknowledgement

My employer of 5 years wants me to sign an employee manual acknowledgement that I feel violates some of my employee rights, it states that he can at will fire me or change me wage without notice or exlpaination, and most disturbing to me that I may not sue him for anything. I do not foresee needing to sue him however I do not want to sign. What are me rights?... thank you

He can fire you if you dont sign but the part about not suing him, probably is not enforcable.
