Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I have a signed document with the owners signature regarding vacation pay and time owed me. Now I am trying to get paid for 4 days vacation left from that agreement and I was told that I do not have the time comming. I went to the H/R department and went back through the time off sheets and I do indeed have the time comming. Then they decided they would go back on payroll and see how much time they have paid me for, but they do not have records from when I started in 1998, they only have records from 2005. They are saying that i have been overpaid for vacation time. Per the last agreement, I had this time comming, now they do not want to pay for the time. What can I do.
