Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I signed a non-compete agreement with a company based out of Missouri that does professional services. I now live in California, and accepted an offer from a non-profit in that state which I am confident my firm has not done any business with or has on its radar. Am I violating my non-compete by working there? This non-profit does not do professional services and is not a past or current client of my firm.
Thank you.

Noncompete agreements are generally not upheld in California, but in order to properly answer your question, the contract you signed needs to be analyzed by an employment law attorney.
