Legal Question in Employment Law in California
after speaking with my boss yesterday about a certain male co worker who is very negative and rude and mean in general, he spoke with the sales mananger of my department and after he spoke to her she threatened me saying i was breaking up our "group" and that i better "watch my back"...this was a direct threat, and it just one of the many illegal things within this office. help!

California law requires employers to provide a safe workplace. It might be a good idea for you to begin documenting in writing your requests for a safe workplace. Having an attorney guide you through this process can be helpful.
