Split Shift Pay
Is there extra pay required when you schedule a non-expempt worker for a split shift (total worked hours do not exceed 8 for day)?

Most of the California Wage Orders provide that an employee who is required to report for work a second time in any work day, and is furnished less than 2 hours of work on the second reporting is entitled to 2 hours at the employee's regular rate.
