Legal Question in Employment Law in California
what is the statute of limitations for a verbal agreement made about 1 year ago.
I am an independent contractor and my former employer and I made a verbal agreement $350.00 per week paid to me plus 3% commission.
After 2 months I did not perform and was dropped to commission only (now at 8.5%).
Now my former employer is asking for past advances due.
The verbal agreement was NOT commission against draw.
Thanks,
CP
