Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Can I sue the union for non representation? I have contacted my union representative. She has twice promised to get back to me by the end of two different days, and never has. I was also told that there was no reason for termination. I was terminated by phone this morning.

You would not be successful in suing. The union rep. will merely say she was busy. What damages did you suffer because she did not return your calls? What does the Union contract say as to how an employee can be fired? If the employer did not follow those rules the the termination may be invalid. Contact the Union again and tell them you got fired, demand to speak to someone other than the person who failed to help you.
