Legal Question in Employment Law in California

time and money

i am constantly screwed out of my breaks at work. i try to take it upon my self to take them, however, there are times when i can not, or i would probably be fired. reguardless of weather or not i take them, it is always taken out mf my pay, and i seem to be having this problem more than the rest of my co workers. this is illigal, correct?
