Legal Question in Employment Law in California

unpaid commissions

I was working for a pest control company; outside sales, paid on commission. I was laid off at the end of Jan. I had sales that were authorized and scheduled in Feb. The amount was substancal. The jobs were completed. Shouldn't I be paid on these accounts?

Re: unpaid commissions

Maybe, it depends on what authorized and confirmed means. It may mean that you earned them and that you are entitled to the commissions. I would need more facts to determine whether you are entitled to these commissions.
