vacation-payed time off

I scheduled 3 days vacation. During those three days my employer decided to close 4 hours early one day. She paid all employees who were there that day for 8 hours but charged the 8 hours to my vacation time.She said that since I had already scheduled that time off as vacation time that I was not entitled to be paid for the 4 hours that everyone else was paid for because they had come to work that day expecting to work for 8 hours. Is this right?
