Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Verification of Employment
I was wondering if it is legal for a previous employer to deny that I was employed for a particular company. If it is not legal, what kind of action can be persued?

Re: Verification of Employment
There is a law against blackballing. If your former employer is lying about you to prevent you from getting a job, you could sue him for damages.
