No W4 form where signed
Although the deductions were made my employer never had a me sign a W4 form, is this legal?

Federal law requires that employers have employees complete W-4 forms, as well as a form called an I-9 immigration status form. The W-4 enables the employer to make the proper deductions for tax purposes. You may want to discuss this with your employer, to avoid future tax or withholding problems.
