Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Wife works for WalMart. Today they brought her and two of her fellow workers from the Photo dept. and told them that they were no longer photo tech but just fegular employees like cashiers. They were told that they had to sign a paper demoting them from a level 5 employee to a level 3 or they would be let go. signing his paper not only changes their level but also effects their future raises. My wife being from Italy did as they said so now is she screwed or is there any action she can take to regain her old position back.

There is nothing she could have done. The employer has every right to reassign and reclassify employees.
