Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I am an at will employee for a Public Utility District. I submitted 2 week letter of resigination. The next day, I recieved an email informing me that my services are no longer needed, the locks had been changed, and I am not to enter onto district property without making an appointment to be escourted., Additionally, I live in district housing. They gave me 1 30 day notice. Also the email stated that termination is effectively im,meadiately, but final check will not be availoble for 3 days. My check arrived at mymail box 5 days later. It shorted me 17 hrs, a gross pay amount over 675.00. My questions what should I do?

Speak with the payroll office about your concerns. If that doesn't help, complain to the State Labor Board about your short and late pay. Waiting time penalties might attach.
