Legal Question in Employment Law in California
wongful termination
I was terminated from fire academy on dec. 22 2003 for cheating. i did not cheat. an instructor gave us an idea to put marks for ladder practice. so we did. Every ladder test they water the ground because the ladder tends to put markings on the ground. an instructor noticed markings. called the drill masters and the chief. i admitted tho the chief that i put the markings on the ground. later that day, the recruits adnmitted that they knew about it and an insructor gave us the idea. so instead of giving me and a fellow recruit a repremend like the rest of the recruits, they fired us. after all the facts coming out. the chief said he would vouch for me in getting back in the next class but never happened, they denied my reinstatement and im officialy out of the fire service. cheating on your record is like felony in the department. it took me 3 years to get hired with city and six years to become a firefighter and now its over. Do i have a case?

We have helped individuals in such matters many times before. Must be California or Federal Court Admin matter. Not practice in Colorado.
