Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Hello. I work as an auto mechanic, all commission, no salary. My pay period is from friday to thursday. Yesterday I finished a big job(thursday) but the customer did not come in till friday to pick up the car and pay for the repairs. My boss says, "You don't get paid till I get paid"...so now I will not recieve payment for my work till next week. I feel I should be paid for my work compleated within the the pay week, no matter if the owner has paid or not.
Do I have any rights in this respect?
