Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Hi I work for a company in the food industry that prepares meals for different charter and public schools. I have been there almost a year now . Through out the time working there I've been insulted and harassed by Managers and supervisors. I've been called a b****, I was told nobody likes me by the general manager, and worst incident of all my hand was put into contact against another manager's crotch! I never was apologized to, regarding any of these incidents. Also over the time, and type of work I do, this job has caused me physical pain . My knees hurt daily while I'm working , along with other body parts. I feel stressed out daily at work . What can I do?

You need to file a claim for worker's compensation benefits for both physical and stress that you are suffering. One of the benefits is temporary disability benefits and if you think you can't perform your customary work but a doctor needs to certify you for disability. You are also entitled to a settlement for permanent disability and future medical treatment. I can refer you to a physician for evaluation.
