Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I work in a fast food place. I have been victim of verbal abuse. I have also reported both incidents to the corporate. In return, the supervisor asked me to never call the corporate again. Now months later, our store has given charge as a store manager to a woman who is very vindictive, lazy, and is threatening to cut our work hours because she simply doesn't like us. Is there any way we can appeal the corporate or owner? Not our supervisor as he is taking her side. What can we do to make our voices known?

Unfortunately, unless the reason why your supervisor is treating you badly is for unlawful reasons, such as race, age, sex, religion, handicap, unlawful retaliation, etc., employees have little protection in these circumstances.
Some employers will investigate and take corrective action when it appears they have a bad manager, if enough voices have been heard. It is all to easy to discount the complaints of one or two individuals who complain against their manager, so numbers do count. But be aware, that you are probably considered at-will employees, which means that you can be terminated for almost any reason or even no reason. So, use your best judgment on how you wish to proceed.
