I work full time as a school nurse (RN) in a public school in California. Am I entitled by law to receive benefits?

There is no law that requires employers to give benefits to employees. Benefits are negotiated for by contract. With school districts, most employees are represented by unions who negotiate on behalf of its members. If you belong to a union, speak to your union representative about what benefits you are entitled to.
