I work as an independent owner operator to carry any kind of load. . The company I work for does not pay me for the month of December 2012. Each week asking for money and that the apology is money waiting to be transferred to their account and they first have to pay their workers. How can I get my money?
This company is from IL
wrote on 22 April demand letter to the company as well. There no money, no answer. I do not know what to do?

I'm wondering if you are truly an independent contractor, since it appears you work for only one company.
Your likely remedy is in small claims court for the amount due you. If you can be reclassified as an employee, you have an alternative remedy before the California Labor Commissioner.
You may wish to speak with either the CA Labor Commissioner or an employee-side labor lawyer to see if you should be reclassified as an employee.
