work?
have a letter from last employers legal department that calls me a thief. demands i return the things i stole right away and that i stop contacting the clients right now also. i am not contacting anyone and i have nothing what is the best thing for me to do?

Write back telling the legal department what you said in your post, or pay a lawyer to write the letter for you. Emphasize that if you learn they have told others you are falsely accused of being a thief, you will be taking your own legal action against them.
