Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I work for a restaurant that is open 7 days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Sometimes I work until it closes at 1:00 a.m. and then I open the following day at 6:00 a.m. Is this legal?

How many hours do I legally need to rest before going back to work?

Thanks very much for your help
