Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I have worked for Banana Republic (Gap Inc.)for 7 years. For the first 6 yrs i was in the top 20 producers in sales,(750-$950,000)in a $10 mill/year store. I moved to a smaller Socal store last year and took a pay cut. Because i earn more than most others in this new location they have given me a much bigger sales per hour goal, double and triple everyone elses. Is this legal? I have 2 weeks to meet the goal otherwise i will be terminated.

Thanks for the help.

Howard Wayne.
