Legal Question in Employment Law in California
my co worker had and item stolen from her at our place of work and when she saw her item again she took it back and because i was walking with her they said i was the look out even though she told them that it was her they still fired me for theif but when she's at work and we have a break we are always together

Sounds like they legally fired you as you were there with the thief and was always together with her. It is reasonable to believe you were a lookout.
By the way, not legally speaking, but you ought to make a better choice of friends as their actions reflect on your character.
