Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I have a workers comp case that is being held up by my employers refusal to pay the lien to the EDD for the state disability I received while waiting for my employer to approve my workers comp claim. If they do not pay the lien can the EDD garnish my wages and or take my federal tax refund?

No. your employer's insurance company will eventually pay the EDD benefits that you have received plus all the medical expenses and pay for a settlement for your permanent disabilities. You need to retain a worker's compensation attorney to assist you. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
