Legal Question in Employment Law in California

im now on workers comp and also on disability insurance

im coming to the end of disability insurance payment but i will still be on 230.00 a week from workers comp, can i now go on unemployment insurance ??? if so does wc 230.00 be included or deducted from the total amount of $ from the unemployment insurance payment ? please advice

i was injured at work in july of 2007 have never collected unemployment insurance and i was let go from the job in march of 2010.... the unemployment insurance still there for me right ?????

please advice

You cannot collect unemployment insurance if you are unable to work due to your disability. If you are able to work and are, in fact, looking for work, you must inform the EDD of all income you are receiving and they will determine how much unemployment you can receive based on your current income, or whether any deduction is to be made at all.
