Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Does an Workers compensation injury stop an employee from accuring "service time" on the job. Case was awarded in my favor and one pending. Union could not provide me with any documentation to prove this, therefore, I'm investigating the question.

The Labor Code prevents an employer from treating an employee differently from an employee off work because of an industrial injury at work as opposed to one who is at work. So both should earn seniority at the same rate.
