workers comp/sexual assault

My girlfriend was grabbed from behind groped and pulled to the ground by a fellow employee.The person is in county jail and entire inctdent was caught on security tape.The compaby has assigned two attys for her ,but not sure if she is being represented properly.She is on light duty at work with a back problem.They have offered her $15000,plus pay her medical insurance.That seems like a small amount based on the incident ,severe bruised breast,leg,thigh,neck.This is a major supermarket in calif .also the employee rhat attacked her used a fake name the lapd took two -tgree weeks to verify bhis ID and fond he had several outstanding warrants

I believe the proposed settlement is too low. Are you sure company's attorney are representing her? because that would be a conflict of interest. She needs an experienced and an independent worker's compensation attorney to properly represent her. The settlement amount generally are based on findings of neutral doctors.
