Legal Question in Employment Law in California
"i have been working at this company since they opened. now they are going to have a second shift for night. since i have been there from day one and have senority over alot of people can they just say you have to go to the second shift or ill be let go? or can i say no and not be fierd?

They have every legal right to fire you if you decline to accept the shift they offer you.

Mr. McCormick is correct. Unless there is a union contract, there is no such thing as seniority rights.
