Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I was written off of work due to having anxiety attacks and was told to see a psychiatrist. I was seeing one but never felt quite ready to return. I am no longer employed with them and am curious if I still need a note from a psychiatrist releasing me to work if I want to find a new job.

You don't need to disclose anything to a new employer. You need a release to go back to your employer that terminated you. It seems that you may have a valid stress claim against them if your anxiety attacks were work-related. Feel free to call me at 213-388-7070 for a free consultation.
