Wrongful dismissal

i feel i have been wrongfully dismissed/fired from my employer.the circumstances are failure to complete an employer provided education course at another company location. failure to complete course due to documented illness i suffered while at location.the company feels i have violated guidelines and grounds for dismissal are 'insubordination'.what is my legal course of action nessasary to obtain reinstatment as i feel i have a valid reason for not following guidelines, that being, my illness incured while attending course.
