Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Wrongful termination

Should I file a suit against an employer that wrongfully terminated me? The answer for termination was that I did not follow the corporation policys and I was let go. They actually gave me a choice of whether I wanted to put down on the paper work that I quit instead of them terminating my employment. I was on a 90 guarantee of $15,000.00 and I was only paid for one month that I worked there.

Re: Wrongful termination

I dont see the wrongful termination? Where are you claiming that you were wrongfully terminated in the facts that you have presented? It appears that you were terminated for failing to conform to company policies. Was the 90 day guarantee a contract? If so, they may be liable under the contract, but they probably have a provision for terminating for cause. If you have a contract you need it reviewed by an attorney to give you a more definitive answer.
