How long do you have to file a wrongful termination?

Generally, in CA, two years. But other time limits could apply to other claims; e.g., if you have a defamation claim, one year. If you have a state discrimination claim, you have one year to file with the DFEH before you can file in court -- these are just examples; the time limits can be tricky; you need to consult with an attorney.
