Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Is this Wrongful Termination?
In the state of California, can you be dismissed from a job for simply having your resume posted on a job recruitment website?
In other words, is it legally considered 'giving notice to your employers' just because you have a resume posted on Careerbuilder.com?

Re: Is this Wrongful Termination?
Generally, employers may legally fire at their will, which means they do not need a good reason or any reason at all. If they learn you are looking for employment elsewhere, there is nothing unlawful about terminating an employee they know does not wish to remain with them, unless you have evidence that there are unlawful motives behind their actions.
