Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
Hi,
I own a 2 bedroom condo in Escondido, CA. I occupy one of the bedrooms and have put numerous adds out for a roommate to occupy the other room. I have also put that I can only accept one person. Is this lawful? Or am I violating some rule that I am not aware of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! -Alicia

You are not violating and state laws I can think of. Check your local ordinances. Also check your HOA rules.
