30 day notice rent question
i have recieved a 30 day notice to be out by april 19th. the daily rate starting the 1st is $22.00. i recived the rent bill and its asking for the full months rent. i have to be out by the 19th how much do i have to pay the full amount or up to the day i leave? it's a month to month. thanks

Howdy:
If the landlord provided a specific date, and the notice terminates the lease ... as opposed to being a notice to pay rent or quit, you'll only be responsible for rent up to the date on the notice.

You will be required to pay rent only through the 19th. However, if you have lived at this address for more than 1 year, the landlord is required to give you a 60-day notice. That means that this one is void if you have lived ther for more than a year, and the landlord would be required to start over.
