Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

30-Day Notice to vacatehas mistakes

On 08/31/04, I was terminated as the resident manager of an apt complex. My apt was part of my salary package. Upon my termination, I was given a 30-day notice to vacate by the property mgmt company. There are critical mistakes on the notice. 1) the notice requires me to vacate the apt by 09/31/04. There are only 30 days in Sept!?. 2) The apt # space was left blank 3) The bottom portion, proof of service is also blank.

As an apt manager, I know that it is critical to make no mistakes regarding legal notices served on tenants. Does this notice become void because of the critical errors on it?

Please reply.

Perhaps. The next question is, how long have you lived there. If over 1 year, you are entitled to 60 days notice to terminate a tenancy.
