30 day terminate tenancy

i recently recieved a 30 day notice on may 31,2006 stating i had to leave by june 10 there was no reason i am on a month to month contract i paid for the month of june on the first when i asked them for what reason on why o had to leave they dint have one

The landlord does not have to state a reason for terminating a month-to-month tenancy. All that's required is adequate notice.

There may be local rent control laws that limit the terms under which a landlord may evict. You should seek legal assistance in your community. Often there is free legal assistance to tenants facing eviction. You should also start looking for another place to live.
