Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
24 hour notice
we were renting a house for 9 months ,we gave our 30 day notice to move out, well the landlords son ncalled me and asked if he could show the house to people who wanted to rent it I told him no he would have to wait until we were moved out wich would be the day our 30 days were up. anyways he told me ok he undserstood well he called me 3 times after that still wanting to show people the haouse and i9 told him no every time well the last day of my 30 days we were moving everything onto the moving truck his son walks in my house with some family who wanted to see the house to rent it , i was upset so i asked my landlords son, that i had told him to wait until i moved and that this was totally wrong of my landlord to do when he knew how i felt alredy.
my question is does the landflord have to give you 24 hour notice before he can come into your house,by doing what he did when i told him no is ghe breaking the law?

Re: 24 hour notice
The law allows the landlord to give you 24 hours written notice of their intent to access your unit for the purposes of showing it to a potential replacement tenant. Based on the facts that you described, you have no legal basiss to deny the landlord access.
